INJURED PASSENGER SUES METRA

A lawsuit was recently filed in the Circuit Court of Cook County against Metra arising out of injuries sustained in May 2011, by a Metra passenger in a train v. passenger vehicle collision. The lawsuit alleges, among other things, that Metra was negligent because the train was being operated with no lights, no horns, inadequate brakes, and too many passenger cars.
